Cathy Lomax’s Glass Menagerie is another very popular piece in the exhibition. Based on the play The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, this work explores, expectation, disappointment, vulnerability, detachment, fascination and obsession. The multi-layered relationship of projection, glass animals, mirror reflection, gallery positioning and lighting presents a complex schematic of emotions, psychology and neurosis.
